Let's talk about K-Cups, shall we?
K-Cups took the market by the storm. Great idea, convenience and simplicity of use. Those three values are by far the most important reasons a lot of customers but coffee packed in K-Cups. However, let's chill for a minute and take another look at that product. As you know, each K-Cup contains roast and ground coffee which you should truly avoid buying for the reasons listed in this post. Besides the fact you should always buy a whole bean coffee, there are some other reasons why K-Cups are not the best choice. your roast and - unfortunately - ground coffee stays in a plastic cup for quite some time. You cannot tell when the coffee was roasted so you don't know how long has the coffee been stuck in that little plastic container. Once you get to brew it, you expose your coffee and the plastic cup to a high temperature. That can't be good for you. Last but not least, your Keurig coffee brewing machine is pretty difficult to keep clean. Ask yourself, when was the last time you actually cleaned it up inside out? Just think about the mold build up inside the brewing canal. The bottom line is this, if you care about the quality of your coffee beverage, always buy a whole bean coffee.
